By road: Snowdonia is easily accessible by road from different parts of the country. The main roads leading to it are:

A55 - from Northern England & Scotland

A5 - from the Midlands and Southern England

A470 - from South Wales

A5 (Holyhead) - from Ireland via ferry

By plane: The nearest International Airports are the ones at Manchester and Birmingham.

By train: There is access to Snowdonia by rail, along the north & west coasts, and the Conwy & Lledr valleys. There is also a rail link between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Porthmadog using the Ffestiniog Railway.
